Classroom Management Visual Supports Make and Take

Visual supports are extremely beneficial for both students with and without disabilities. At this event, several strategies for using visual supports at home and in the classroom will be shared. There will also be an opportunity to create and customize visual supports for use with your own children and students. All materials needed to create the visual supports will be provided.

In support of Indiana State University’s Community Engagement Initiative, Blumberg Center is actively engaged in organizations and activities throughout the Wabash Valley. As a key member in the local Business Leadership Network (BLN) and the Disabilities Awareness Work Group (DAWG), Blumberg Center works to support individuals with disabilities as well as employers, educators and families of individuals with disabilities.

SYCAMORE HOOPLA FESTIVITIES
Blumberg Center students Natalie Lewis and Emily Horine take part in the annual Sycamore Hoopla festivities. Over 50 campus organizations, residence halls, offices and departments decorated Hulman Center windows in preparation of two fun-filled days of basketball. Blumberg Center students incorporated the Polar Bear into their window design in recognition of the Polar Plunge (also was part of the Hoopla activities) which supports Special Olympics Indiana.
